Lumi put his hand on her shoulder in a comforting way. "It is fine." Then he looked down at the cat. "Brye, what are you doing here?"
Brye pawed the ground and meowed.
Lumi groaned. "If only it could talk, yes? Back in France we had a cat. Cogsworth kept talking to it like it could understand... of course, the cat was a pillow. Much bigger than a clock. You should have seen it; it was very amusing to watch the cat chase Cogsworth around the castle..." Realizing he'd been rambling, Lumi grinned sheepishly and stopped.

Akemi nodded in intrest. "Yeah, I wish I could've seen it." She blushed deeper as Lumi's hand touched her shoulder.

Lumi whispered in her ear, "You do?" Pulling away, he said, "Ah, but you do not. Times were hard, for all of us. Working out how to use an object's body, fearing the master's wrath at every turn..." He sighed. "The master is that way, still. Cogsworth quit. Maybe... I should too..."

Akemi's blush deepened as Lumi's breath beat down on her ear. "I..." She tried to control her thoughts, but her embarassment and love started to become public. "Uh..." She didn't want to admit it, but Lumi's touch felt nice.

Akemi shut her eyes. She was begging for control over herself, but to no avail. She whirled around and threw her arms around Lumi.

Lumiere beamed and threw his arms back around her. "Oh-ho! You... and me..." They stood there for a moment in silence, just the two of them, just like it used to be.
Until Brye meowed, snapping them out of their reverie.

Akemi put a hand on his cheek. "I am so going to Hell for this..." She slowly pressed her lips to his. She knew this was wrong, but she couldn't stop herself.

Lumi's eyes grew wide, then back to normal, as he realized what was happening. His tongue slipped into her mouth, his arms wrapped around her neck, his mind in extasy. ((<--I KNOW I spelled that wrong but still...))

Akemi moaned slightly and allowed his tongue to roam free. She pushed him up against a tree, not breaking the kiss unless she was nearly suffocating. She held onto his neck and deepened the kiss. This was SO wrong, but she didn't even care.

Lumi knew it was wrong too, of course. Akemi was married, married to Shikamaru Nara, and Lumiere was NOT Shikamaru Nara. *Perhaps Akemi was going to get divorced,* he thought hopefully. Christmas Eve and Brian had gotten divorced, so now Brian and Emiko, who had once gone out, got back together. Maybe the same thing would happen to him and Akemi...

Akemi didn't hear his thought, she was too caught up in the moment. She loved Shika, but as fate would have it, she loved Lumi exactly the same amount.
