Akemi realized what he was talking about and sighed. "Yeah, it is a shame. But Giselle had love for two. She had to choose ONE of them, obviously. It's not like in Paint Your Wagon (western movie my dad likes), where the girl has two husbands. I'm sure Edward managed in the end." Akemi sighed once more.

The dude sitting behind them shh-ed him. Lumiere turned and gaped at the dude's strange appearance. It was Trekkie Monster.
Well, he said "shh," who else would it be?

Akemi slapped her forehead. She hissed at Lumi, clearly annoyed, "Lumiere, not helping stress level!" She sighed and said, "It's over, we'd better go." She looked at Trekkie and just shook her head. "Must you say 'sh'? It has more meaning than you think."

Akemi turned around. "Lumiere, now you're being ridiculous. You're my friend, Lumiere. Also, I have a family I need to care for. I'll see you when I see you." She turned on her heel and continued towards home. She turned again. "Oh, and don't call me 'Ke'. Alright? Alright. Bye." She once again started hurrying home.

Lumiere scowled and ran home. If he were younger, if he were a girl, if there was someone who cared enough to ask why, he would have been crying.
He slammed the door, walking inside. "EMIKO!"
"What, Lumi?" Emiko skittered into the room.
"Akemi does not love me."
"She likes you."
"She DOES NOT LOVE ME!"

Akemi shut the door and called, "Shika! I'm home!" She hung up her coat and went to the living room, sitting on the couch. She was so bored. No, it was more of a feeling of uselessness. She didn't want to do anything. Not even sleep. So she simply lay down on the couch and stared out the window.

Akemi shook her head. "Nothing, I just don't know what to do. I don't feel like doing much. It's kinda annoying, this feeling. The last time I got it was when I was a kid and I had insomnia. You know, not being able to sleep?" She smiled and kissed Shika. "I'm just tired, I guess."

"I went to catch up with Frenchperv." Akemi saw Shika's face and added quickly, "Oi! Nothing wierd or romantic, we just went to a movie! Geez!" Akemi hugged Shika around his neck. "You know you're my one and only, Shika. Otherwise I wouldn't have married you."
