True.
And...my friend pointed out that some Japanese people have like this..self hatred. All the characters they draw have HUGE eyes and varying color hair. I don't think iIve seen an anime character that actually looked Japanese.

That's true.
In my favorite anime, Cardcaptor Sakura, there's almost NO ONE that looks Japanese at all. The only people that look remotely Asian is Yamazaki, who's a compulsive liar that never opens his eyes, and Meiling, who's CHINESE. o.o;
