Well, there are problems with that one Becky. =F I know you were creeped out, but I'm not sure WHAT that person was telling you, and thinking it over a little, I've realized it all really depends on the situation.
If you told that person you really didn't want to talk to them, or asked them politely not to keep pming you, then I can see it being a reasonable rule. 'Cause in that case, you did indicate discomfort and they continued, making it more stalking and harassment.
But if somebody is messaging you, under the impression they are your friend or something, and you simply are just ignoring them or not telling them ' hey, can you please slow down the messages?', or 'hey, can you please not do that?', then you know..You really can't point at somebody and call them a stalker.
I think that, if somebody is simply messaging you in many places, and the messages are in no way blatantly offensive, and you're just uncomfy because you don't want to talk to them, then you should tell that person how you feel. A lot of times, if you just talk to somebody and ask them to please stop messaging you that much, they will. I have a friend who does that, and when it's annoyed me, I've asked him to stop, he's apologized, and hasn't done it.
Sometimes, people honestly don't know. So, like I said, if the messages aren't offensive in any way, the person recieving the messages should speak to the sender and tell them how they feel. THEN, if the person keeps up the messaging if the other person has asked them to stop, it should be considered stalking/harassment.
