Bonnie smiled slyly at the shaved ice cart. The line was so long, and Slushy wouldn't let her have a free ice cream. And so she decided to steal some... She'd never stole from another experiment before but after all, how hard could it be?

Bonnie laughed. "I thought she was lookin' at ya funny, the way Clyde used to look at me when 'e called me his booshibu. Ah well." She looked at a man walking by and grabbed the watch off his arm. She looked it over and said to herself, "Clyde, where are you?" She moaned. "That's it, I'm startin' without him. So, Sparks... you ever stolen anythin' before?"

She crept behind the ice cream cart and poked Slushy on the back. When he turned around, she ducked behind a bush, and grabbed three shaved ice cones from the cart. She ran away giggling. "See, that's how ya do it." "Che-bah-meetzo!" cried Slushy, which means "come back here" in Kweltikwan. "Ignore 'em," said Bonnie, licking her shaved ice. "They all stop che-bah-meetzo-in' sooner o' later." |
