I'mma gonna join as two characters, both fan characters for that sphinx and the cursed mummy game thing.
One is an 'Anubite', the female is, and the other is a priest.. Who likes to summon the magic of the cobra goddess, having stolen a sacred relic and crap. lol, maybe he's out to stop all the rival priests in the area. muwhaha.
So, you got any ideas for a setting? I'll think of one if you don't. x3
So I don't forget and have to look them up again, my char names are Kanika and Badru

" What are we out here for, Badru? I'm not even in your area of expertise."
Kanika sneered as the priest before her gave a wicked laugh, taking a light bow as he approached the young woman seated on one of the many, lavish temple paddings.
" I can change that," he chuckled to get a rise out of the young woman, noting the large, Anubis-eye tattoo forever bored into her forehead.
" Enough of these games! What is it that you want?"
" Protection," he stated, clasping his hands together in a pleading manner, before returning to place them on his cane. " You see, I intend to spread my name across this land, to be appointed the one and only grand priest of the pharaoh..And for that to happen, all rivals must be put in their place. Or disposed of."
His grin faded away as he thought of those other priests, ones who had out-done him in every step of the way in the past. But, it was all history as they said. Now that he had stolen a magical artifact, he was more prepared for this task than ever.
" I do not know if I can condone this.." she whispered, trying not to be heard. This wasn't a private temple, after all. Anyone and everyone who was of a priest or priestess rank could come in, overhear conversations, etc. Anyone with some magical prowess was free to wander these golden halls.
"You know your duty, and you know they have lost anubis's favor. Think about it..."
Badru decided to walk the halls a little more, while he left the young Anubite to think. She might have looked like any other bronze-skinned, lavishly-clothed priestess, but he knew what lurked underneath that pretty skin. A Jackal-like monster, humanly-shaped, bound to serve one purpose until the end of time. And she had already failed once. She couldn't afford to make too many more mistakes.

((I'm sorta confused as to what's going on, but I THINK I get it...))
A tall, thin priest with a large nose sauntered into the temple. Sometimes it entertained him to just watch the minor priests at work, perhaps correcting them every now and then with his superior I'm-the-high-priest-of-Egypt-and-you're-not-ish air. It was nice to be the best (in his mind, anyway), after spending so much time with the Pharaoh, who was, of course, the best of the best.

Kanika sighed, leaning back against the lavish, feather-filled cushion that she was laying on, as she watched Badru saunter out of sight.
The minor priest, as he was relatively unknown by the ancient world anymore, continued to walk down the corridors, noting Huy's presence, but trying to ignore it for the moment. He pretended, instead, to be reading the messages on the walls as he stopped, staring at a panel of hieroglyphs.

Badru turned to face him, sneering with contempt. It took all of his little self-restraint to keep from spewing out a fountain of insults on Huy's behalf, but he held his tongue well for once.
" Merely reading, as I am allowed to do," he hissed, glaring with as much hatred as he could muster.
