My opinion on Couplings in L&S and any fandom Is that people need to take it less seriously  it's been 3 years of nothing but Arguements Arguements, and loads of stupid fights over which is better. Oh yes and pairing your fancharacter representation of yourself with a L&S character and taking it seriously is a sure sign of yourself on the path to insanity. I've noticed people who spend too much time on coupling crap lose their fan touch with L&S itself. Also i think Slash Couplings are good if done properly, i've read some interesting slash fanfictions before X3 Leroy and Stitch are cuuuute. so don't bash slash, you don't have to like it but it's not Canon it's fanfictional couplings don't get upset.. |

Wow, you know, I agree. Ironically enough, I posted a thread on Angel the other day talking about how tired I was of fangirls dissing other pairings and acting like theirs was the only one that mattered, that they owned the male char, etc. xD
Yeah...Nobody should take fictional pairings THAT seriously. ESPECIALLY if it's fancharacterxoc, since that's completely fabricated. I like seeing those pairings, but not if people are getting into fights over stuff like that.
Slash pairings of either variety are good if done well. I don't mind slash at all, I agree they can be interesting in good. In the lilo and stitch fandom, I've seen some really good stitch and leroy, and stitch and 627. x3
The only time I don't like slash is when people just throw two completely random male or female characters together for the sake of smut. No plot, no building up, no chemistry, they just go totally ooc just for the sake of that. Those are the goshawful slash pairings. The ones that are done carefully and well, those do deserve as much respect as any heterosexual pairing.

Yeah, and people who are into coupling like this seem to ignore everything else.
I've made a mental note for my Cartoon series to completely crush any possibility of stupid fan coupling garbage.
*looks at Karma* Hmm i believe a Sexon has been upset by my presence! =3

Heh, well good luck with that. Fans always seem to find a way to make pairings. >> Or they just do it for the heck of it, even if it doesn't make sense. But you could always like, you know, go to the fanfiction sites and say you do not allow fanfictions and such of your cartoon series when it's made.

I totally agree with this thread. I have my pairings that I adore, but that doesn't mean I bash every other couple that gets in its way. I can like more than one Stitch couple, more than one Angel couple, and so on. And if someone really doesn't like a couple and feels a glaringneed to say so, I think people should just say, "I don't really think this couple would work out. It's just not my style." Or something like that. No bashing the person for liking the couple, no bashing the couple itself.
Sorry, I sort of ranted... XD Anyway, this should probably be in rants anyway, considering it's a rant more than a thread about couples.
