For several days now, I've been trying to get a club going at school. I've posted flyers, advertised on facebook, and what happens? Nobody shows up. Not a single person.
I don't get it. I go to all this work to set things up with the school, and get flyers and ads posted, and nothing happens. All my work is for naught.
This isn't even the first time I tried to hold a meeting. First time, same thing.
I'm starting to think I'm the only Catholic on my school's campus.

If your club is catholic that maybe what it's about, could you describe what your club is about?
For some reason i don't think younger people really have much interest in religion based socials dunno why.
if you explain the club to me i might be able to help.

Aww I'm sorry, Torch. D: Though I do have to agree with Nexus... a lot of people are probably Catholic, but not that many people are as interested in their religion at a young age as you are. Don't take it too hard. Maybe they're just all really busy. It doesn't mean anything about how they feel towards you.

It's like the great American Stereotype especially on the Simpsons, Christian kids don't like going to church!
And why wouldn't they, it's most of the time just preaching....from the bible.. I Don't like the bible much, it's pretty gory.
I personally don't like much about Church because it just doesn't honor the religion in a meaningful way.

I don't care for religion, so I don't honor religion, that's not what church is about it's about learning more about the god we serve and what he sacrificed for us to be closer to him.

If most Church services is mainly preaching while the attendants do nothing but listen....
It's not really that meaningful in my view.

Then be Catholic. Catholic Mass is all about fellowship and the presence of God in the Eucharist.

Personally religion are views and beliefs, You may can disagree with them but you cannot judge them for what they believe in.
The similiarities is not a factor It is more on the view.
Ahem now to say what I am to say, Try looking for some people who may be catholic. rather than start a meeting without planing ahead. Put up more flyers. Or find a Catholic person who is interested and can help you further on your request.
