Suki smiled and clutched her folder, going into the subway. She paid for tickets and sat on a seat, drumming her fingers on her notebook.

Suddenly she was grabbed from behind, and a spacey voice rather like Luna Lovegood's said happily, "Suki!" She was facing a tall boy with bright purple eyes... Ito Han.

Suki's eyes grew wide, but they then went back to normal. "ITO!" She hugged him. "How arte you? An...and why are you in New York?" She smiled and hugged him again.

He shrugged. "Naya thought there wasn't much point in teaching just me, since you two would be too far behind when you got back," he said, still in that dreamy Luna voice, staring off at the sky outside the train. "So she said maybe I could come live in New York with you. Dumpy kind of city, isn't it?"

"Hmm, I see. I haven't met anyone yet, except the man who sold me a ticket to this subway-thing. He got quite snippy with me when I accidentally blew up a magazine rack, actually," Ito mused. "These 'subways' are quite odd though... an underground train, hmm. Wonder how it runs if these weirdos don't have ninjas."
