Princeton was breathing lightly as he slept beside her, Bakiri snoring softly on the couch in their den. He had absolutely down-right refused to sleep with Sasugay, so Princeton had reluctantly let him sleep where he was now. Princeton was feeling a bit bitter, as he'd wanted some time alone with Suki, but with Bakiri here, it was pretty hard.

Suki smiled as she saw Princeton sleeping. It reminded her of that time when she was in New York....when they....she blushed and supressed a nosebleed. She gently kissed Princeton. "I love you," she murmured.

At her touch, however light it was, Princeton's eyes opened a tad and his mouth turned up, if only very slightly. His arms wrapped themselves around her head. "I love you too, Suki." His orange face was slightly red, thinking of Rock Lee back in Japan, and that Bakiri could easily see them if he walked in at that moment, but now he was in love and that was all that mattered.

Princeton laughed genuinely. "Oh, THAT." He sat up in bed and looked her in the eyes gently. "Su, I gave up on that a LONG time ago. Maybe I'll never find my purpose--lotsa people don't, you know. And I guess I've resigned myself to that fact. All I have to do in life is make myself happy, and make enough money to live by, and have s-someone I love to sp-spend it with." He sighed. "And even if my life sucks at any point, I'll know everything in life is only for now. Right?" Then he laughed again. "You can't beat the wisdom of Gary Coleman!"

Suki frowned. "Gary also thinks that Jesus was black," she stated blankl, pointing out the fact that you CAN beat the 'wisdom' of Gary Coleman. "And if everything in life is only for now....what about love? Will our love eventually fade and die, shriveling up until the sun doesn't rise anymore and the night will swallow up our affections?" She bit her lip, tears threatening to flow out.

Princeton raised an eyebrow. "I like to think Jesus had orange skin." He chuckled. "Not too hard to figure out why, I guess." But then he frowned. "Oh, Suki... you know I'll always love you..." He looked at the floor. "Su... I... I love you, but I can't predict the future. I don't know what'll happen that could break us up, or if we'll even love each other forever if we stay together. Or there could be a plot twist or something. The clouds are ruthless." Princetons shuddered momentarily. RUTH. Cloud 9, no longer obsessed with The Pirates of Penzance, no longer involved Ruth in the story, thus making her 'ruthless.' "And even people who are married don't last forever... 'til death do us part, yeah?" He took her hand in his. "But as long as I have control over myself, and we're both still the people we are now... I'll love you." He smiled. "Is that good enough for you, hon?"
((unfortunately, Princeton only has two eyebrows, unlike Rod, so he will only be raising a maximum of two in this RP. XP))

Suki nodded. "It's fine with me....." She squeezed his hand and kissed him. "I promise to love you until I am literally unable to feel life in my lungs....because that's how I'll feel without you, Princeton....." She smiled. "With every breath I take, I come closer to death....I just want to spend time with the ones I love...." Frowning in annoyed confusion, she asked, "What is it with you Americans and your 'honey', 'sweetie,' and other pet names? In Japan, all we have to say is Princeton or Princeton-kun. Is that SO hard?"

Princeton rolled his eyes. "Sorry, SUKI." But he was smiling. "So, in Japanese, you'd be Suki-chan, right? I was studying some Japanese in college... so if I first met you, you'd be Hasagawa-san, and then Hasgawa-chan once I got to know you. If we became pretty good friends, you'd be Suki-chan, and if I, uh, fell in love with you or anything"--he blushed--"then I could just call you Suki." He blushed harder. "Oh, I'm rambling, aren't I?! You speak Japanese so you know this all already! Aheh... sorry..."

Princeton nodded. "Okay! Actually, four years ago, you promised me a free copy." He smirked. "But that's okay, you don't need to anymore... and I WOULD prefer English. I speak a little Japanese, but I can't read it. You're so amazing, being bilingual and everything! Was it hard to learn English?"

"Well, Emi-chan helped.....she grew up in a Japanese town, but she had English-speaking parents, you know..... her dad had gotten a job in Japan, so she went there. Yeah....we hit off pretty well. And she taught me almost all I know. But also, they taught English in my school back home." She shrugged. "I'm pretty good at buckling down and studying, so it wasn't all that hard....I'd spent a lot of time on the internet," she had lowered her voice for fear of Trekkie hearnig the word upstairs, "so I already knew some basics."
((Wait, does Princeton know she is NEENJA? (Yes I know I spelled it wrong. For pronunciation (sp?) purposes.) Like Mista JOY? Well, more realistic typa NEENJA....she can fight and stoof.....))
