"Spagonia?" Sakura asked curiously. "Where would that be?"
"Mokona thinks good food sounds amazing!" Mokona said happily ((Mokona is kind of like Kero when it comes to food, heh)).
"And Syaoran-kun, you're interested in architecture, aren't you?" Sakura asked him with a smile.
Syaoran shook his head and ignored Sakura's question. "I'm sorry, Sonic-san, but we're not here on vacation. There is something I'm looking for, and I promised myself that I would find it, no matter what!"
Fay laughed kind-heartedly. "Oh, Syaoran-kun, you're way too serious! Sometimes everybody needs to just kick back and have some relaxation time!"
"No, the kid's right," Kurogane said with a cold look in Fay's direction. "We're here to find the Princess's feather and nothing else. The sooner we do, the sooner we can leave. That's what you want, isn't it, mage? To go to ask many countries as possible so you can run from that sleeping king of yours?" ((Kurogane never calls anyone by name. Sakura = the Princess, Syaoran = kid or boy, Fay = mage, Mokona = white pork bun))
Fay smiled mischievously. "Aw, Kuro-tan, you just wanna leave so you can get back to your country and Tomoyo-chan!"
"You didn't answer my question," Kurogane muttered in reply.

Syaoran tightened. "It's no ordinary feather. Princess Sakura... well..." He looked to the others for support. Should he tell Sonic about Sakura's feathers? As a custom, he generally didn't give out the information. In fact, the only ones who knew the truth behind it all were the Time-Space Witch Yuko, Sakura's brother Toya, the high priest Yukito, and of course the gang themselves.
To everyone's surprise, it was Sakura herself that gave up this information. "These feathers carry my memories, Sonic-san. They have immense power, so other people try to get them out of greed, but Syaoran-kun here is finding them to give them back to me." She grinned at him, but she felt a little thump of her heart at her own words. Why was Syaoran so adamant in helping a complete stranger? And why did she get the feeling deep down, that somehow she and Syaoran weren't strangers at all?
"Has anything strange been happening in this country lately?" Syaoran asked. "Or it doesn't have to be lately. It could even be a legend or something... but is there anything that would suggest a feather has appeared?"

"Well, I know a few legends about the Chaos Emeralds, but I've never heard any feather stories. I'll tell you what, I have some friends in the detective business, we could ask them to dig up some info. If you're looking for a place to stay, the hotel at Station Square has a great view of the ocean, and it's affordable."
EGGMAN'S BASE
Dr. Eggman was standing in front of a computer screen.
"What's this? This energy signature is different from that of a Chaos Emerald, but it still has immense power. Perhaps obtaining the Chaos Emeralds would be easier if I had control over this new power source. ALL UNITS, PREPARE THE EGG CARRIER MARK II FOR LAUNCH! This time, not even Sonic will be able to stop me. HAHAHAHAHA!"

"Ah, the currency is rings. Sonic pulled a golden ring out of what appeared to be thin air. They're magical, so you can store them without taking up any space, and pull them out whenever you need them. The currency exchange booth is right over-"
"Sonic!" A red echidna ran up to Sonic.
"What's up Knuckles?"
"I saw the Egg Carrier heading towards Mazuri (Africa)!"
"What's Eggman up to this time? I'll deal with him right now. Kunx, can you take these fine people back to the Station Square hotel once they convert their currency to rings?"
"I actually have to-"
"Awesome. Thanks, I owe you one." Sonic ran off followed by a sonic boom.

The group was surprised at this sudden change in tourguide, but Knuckles seemed nice enough. They approached the exchange booth, hoping the echidna was following. Syaoran handed all of their money from the last country: the Country of Shara, and its mysterious past, Shura. The rings were passed into his hands and disappeared almost instantly, such as when a feather flew into the Princess after Syaoran received it. He gave a nod to the exchanger and turned back to Knuckles.
"Your name is Knuckles-san, right? Could you take us to the hotel please?"
((I'm having them have just come from Shara, because after Shara was Recort which went straight into Tokyo, which was where Fay lost his eye and Syaoran turned evil and his clone came and... everything gets all messed up. xD So Shara it is.))

"Right well, my name is Knuckles, in addition to being your new tourguide, I have a knowledge of some ancient legends, if you're bored."
MAZURI
Eggman was in his floating pod, holding a glowing object between two fingers. "You're too late Sonic! With this feather of power, Nothing will be able to stop me from obtaining the Chaos Emeralds. Farewell my annoying adversary. HAHAHAHA!" The Egg Carrier activated a tractor beam, lifting Eggman inside.
"That feather! This is NOT good." Sonic zoomed off a top speed to inform his new friends? Acquaintances? Either way, he had to let them know what happened.

"Legends?" Syaoran piped excitedly. He was interested in legends for two reasons: one, being an archeologist he was naturally interested in such things, and two, in the Country of Jade, a legend had held the key to finding Sakura's feather. "Yes, we'd love to hear!"

"GUYS!" Sonic screeched to a halt in front of the group. "Eggman has your feather. That's bad, by the way. He's going to use it to get the Chaos Emeralds."

Syaoran's expression grew very serious. "Where is this Eggman? We need to find him immediately!"
"Syaoran-kun..." Fay looked at him with a worried expression. "Calm down. First we need to find a place to stay and cool down for a minute, and then we can start looking for the feather. Okay?"
"Sonic-san said it was bad," Syaoran retorted.
"Mokona thinks..." it began. "Mokona thinks we should go to the hotel today and look for the feather tomorrow. Everybody's tired tonight."
Kurogane grumbled something that could have been either yes or no.

"Okay then." Sonic pulled out a glowing blue emerald. "Next stop, Station Square hotel. Chaos control!" A bright light enveloped the group and a few seconds later, they were standing outside a large building. "Here we are. You go inside and check in, I'll be staying nearby tonight so we'll be able to get an early start tomorrow."

"Thank you, Sonic-san." Fay smiled for all of them as the gang entered the building. "Hello, we're here to check in," he told the woman behind the counter. "My name is Fay, and this is Syaoran-kun, Sakura-chan, Mokona, and--"
"I'm Kurogane," he interrupted bluntly, glaring at Fay's disappointed face.
"--yes, that's Kurogane-sama," Fay concluded, looking slightly put out that he wasn't able to come up with another bizarre nickname. "How much would a room be for the five of us?"

"Hello Sonic."
Sonic whirled around to see a black hedgehog standing in front of him.
"Shadow! There you are. I've been looking for you."
"Why?"
"My aren't you as talkative as ever. I was wondering if you could find Omega and let him know that Tails wants to give him an upgrade."
"Okay. I'll let him know."
"Five words? That must be a new record."
"Whatever." Shadow skated off to find Omega, or so Sonic hoped. Shadow didn't always do things right away, he had his own schedule.
