"If what you say is true," Link said as he pulled the Master Sword from it's sheath. "Then when I touch your forehead with the flat of this blade, nothing will happen. You see, the Master Sword causes immense pain to any and all evil, even in its smallest form." Link placed the flat of the blade against Eriol's forehead before the magician had a chance to speak.

Eriol stood unflinchingly as the sword pressed against his forehead, his lips pursed together even tighter. When nothing happened for a few seconds, he said calmly in his new low voice, "May I go now, Link? Tomoyo-san needs my help on our... project, I think."

"Okay, so technically the Sword only causes pain to evil it feels constitutes a threat, but it will make any evil reveal itself, and you are no exception to that rule. I don't know what you're up to, but I won't let you get away with it. Go work on your project," Link spat the last word. "Just know that if you try anything that would compromise my friend's emotional or physical safety, I will hurt you." He lifted the sword from Eriol's head, but didn't sheath it until he had backed up about 100 feet from the magician.

Eriol frowned as he surveyed Link, his eyes cold. "I would never do anything to hurt Tomoyo-san. She is my friend as well as yours, if you haven't forgotten." And with that, he fled from the area to Tomoyo's side.
((that took me forever. for like the shortest post ever. I get distracted WAY too easily. DX))

"You already have hurt her," Link whispered to himself. He turned around and walked slowly back to where Malon had gone after she had talked to Tomoyo.

Eriol laughed mischievously. Tomoyo was depressed. Sakura and Syaoran talked. Toya and Yukito... ((is scared)) Kero ate. Meilin sulked.

Link looked around the village, thinking about who he should talk to. He decided that his best bet would be Syaoran and Sakura, who were standing in front of the spring, marveling at the small pink fairies that floated above the water.
"Look, I know things aren't exactly perfect between you and you friends right now, but we need to get going. The sky is getting darker, and at this time of day it can only mean that the Fierce Deity is growing stronger. We're going to the Forest Temple as soon as we can, so tell everyone else to get ready."

Sakura turned around abruptly when Link started talking, her eyes drawn with worry for her friends. "Yeah..." she squeaked, her heart not really in it.
Syaoran gave a stark nod. "We will, Tourguide," he assured Link resolutely. Then he turned to his girlfriend with a serious expression. "Sakura, you find Meilin, your brother, and Tsukishiro-san, and I'll take care of Eriol and Tomoyo. I think if we split up and don't make Tomoyo and Meilin come in contact, everything should be okay."
Sakura agreed. "What about Kero-chan though?"
Syaoran rolled his eyes. "I'll talk loudly about cake. That'll make him come faster than any coaxing could do."

Link stood facing the spring for a moment before deciding to go get Malon. He didn't have to however, as a pair of arms wrapped around his waist at that precise moment.
"Do you want to know the real reason I changed back into my original form?" asked an unmistakable voice.
"Sure, why not."
"Princess Agitha is too small to hold the Great Fairy's Sword."
Link began to reply, then paused. "You're right, I probably should have told you that before you tried to hold it, which I presume prompted you to seek out the Fairy Queen."
"Exactly, but it's fine now, with our whole group ready, nobody can stop us."
"Well, that's the idea." Link said smiling. He finally managed to turn around and give Malon a "quick" kiss before the rest of the group arrived at the spring.

"Oniichan? Yukito-san?"
Toya and Yukito's hushed conversation abruptly ceased as Sakura entered the room. She shifted uncomfortably where she stood. "Um, Link-san wants all of us to come and meet him, so he sent me to get you two."
Toya gave a grave nod, and took Yukito's hand to help him up. None of them were for in the mood for smiles. "Let's go."
"Have you seen Meilin-chan, Oniichan?" Sakura asked as the three of them headed for the door.
Toya shook his head, but Yukito replied, "I think she's in your room, Sakura-chan."
Sakura sighed. "I'll be a minute," she said, and headed for the room the three girls shared.
~*~
"Meilin-chan?"
Meilin was curled up on her bed, her face pressed firmly into the pillow. Every now and then a soft squeak would resonate from her mouth. Sakura pitied her. "Just leave me here to die, Sakura-chan," Meilin moaned.
Sakura gave her friend a frown and yanked on her arm. "Come on, Meilin-chan! Link-san wants us. Oniichan and Yukito-san are waiting outside!"
Meilin raised her weary head and looked at Sakura with dramatic, stricken eyes. "Is Tomoyo with you?" she asked sourly, pronouncing the girl's name with intense distaste.
Sakura shuddered, but shook her head. "Syaoran is getting Eriol-kun and Tomoyo-chan."
"They'd be together, of course," Meilin muttered bitterly, but she obliged by swinging her legs around the side of the bed and hopping down onto the floor, so Sakura knew she'd won.
~*~
Meilin and Sakura met Toya and Yukito in the hallway, along with Syaoran, who was now joined by Eriol and a giggly Tomoyo. Meilin stayed firmly on the opposite side of the hallway, and when Tomoyo spoke, Meilin loudly drowned out her words by asking Sakura, "Where's that plush toy?"
Syaoran smirked. "Oh, he'll be here soon, Meilin. Don't worry." Then he raised his voice to a boom, his words stilted like a bad actor's. "Oh, oh dear, I have all this cake, but no one to eat it! I think I will just have to throw it all away! Whatever shall I do?"
Kero was at his side in half a moment. "CAKE?" he screeched, Sakura refraining from the urge to laugh. "WHERE, KID, WHERE?!"
It took a full five minutes to calm Kero down and to comfort him when he realized that there was, indeed, no cake. Finally, the group of five seventh-graders, two college students, and one disappointed magical creatures headed outside to find Link.

"All right, we need to get going. Who knows how much time we have." said Link in a low voice.
The group piled into the horse drawn cart, with Link riding Epona up front. As soon as they left the village, they could tell something was wrong. The clouds in the sky were no ordinary clouds. They were so low, that the tops of the tallest trees couldn't be seen. What was worse was that bolts of white hot electricity periodically struck the ground, and the cart would soon be the tallest thing in the flat field.
"Hang on!" Link called back as they entered the large field. He immediately started swerving left and right, never staying in a straight line, so as to minimize the risk of a lightning strike. More than once a bold landed right next to the cart, and link had to fight for control to stop it from tipping over. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they entered Faron woods, since the natural magic of the area protected it from the worst of the lightning strikes. They soon reached a long winding path that lead up to a round wooden door with a strange symbol on it. "This is it. We're at the Forest Temple," Link said "Everybody get out, we're short on time."

Meilin was clinging desperately to Sakura's arm, hoping against hope not to die. Sakura allowed her to, but really she was clinging to Syaoran herself. Meilin swallowed bitterly. If only I could be holding Tomoyo instead!
The group excited the carriage carefully, weapons out and ready. Eriol held Tomoyo's hand and helped her down, and she resisted the urge to slap him. This is for Meilin's surprise. It's not about me. It's about Meilin!
Syaoran turned to Link for instructions.
Chelsea is sorry she just took like ten minutes to reply with the shortest post ever.
Also, SURPRISE!

Link walked up to the door, placed one hand in the center of the symbol and the other on the side. Just as he was about to force it open, the golden triangles on his hand started to glow. A golden shimmering field suddenly enveloped the group, just as a blinding flash of light obscured their vision. When the light died down, Link opened his eyes to an ornate hallway. The eerie echoes of the ancient sages chanting the Song of Time made their way to his ears. They were in the Temple of Time, but how?

((Why did I type that I took ten minutes? I took, like, an hour, not ten minutes. xDD))
Sakura looked around the eerie chamber in surprise, and instinctively reached for Syaoran's arm. Meilin couldn't help but glance over at Tomoyo before seeing her standing so close to Eriol that it made her head spin. Meilin dejectedly decided she'd better keep to herself, and, sighing, stood by Syaoran and Sakura with a deep frown.
Kero's eyes narrowed as he floated over to Yukito's side. "Does this place seem familiar to you?" he mumbled into the boy's ear.
Eyes wide, Yukito nodded. "I think Clow took me here as Yue when we came to Hyrule," he whispered back.
Kero nodded gravely. "Just as I thought. But what are we doing here now?"

"I'll tell you." said a monotone voice. A short figure walked out of the shadows, revealing a purple cloak.
"Vaati?" Link asked in surprise.
"No, I'm an octorock. Of course it's me you fool!" snapped the wizard. "At this point, I have no choice but to assist you, if only because I won't be able to rule Hyrule if it isn't there.
"What do you mean if it isn't there?" asked Malon, her worry only showing in her eyes.
"The Fierce Deity has caused a large rift in time. As a result, both time and space are collapsing. Because we bear the Triforce, we have been transported as close tho the time nexus as possible, or as you know it, the Temple of Time. Princess Zelda should be here any--" he was cut off as the aforementioned princess appeared in the hall. "--moment." he finished
"So what do we do to stop it?" Link demanded.
"It's simple, we go to the center of the Temple, where the time nexus is located. Once there, we destroy the Fierce Deity and everything will return to normal."
